The Christian Interdenominational International Ministry of Helps «THE LIGHT» is a non-profit organisation that started with the purpose to contribute in the spreading of the redeeming message of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Using the words of the title we'll attempt to describe what this ministry does.

Because we all know what the word «Christian» means, we move on to the next word.

Interdenominational

The vision of the ministry is to create the right conditions for workers of various Christian churches and creeds to approach one another, to exchange and share experiences and opinions on issues concerning organisation, administration and above all evangelism.

Through bonds forged between workers they will develop the sense that they are not alone in their cause of evangelising our nation.

As referred to in Ecclesiastes 4: 9 - 4: 12

«Two people are better than one, because they can reap more benefit from their labor. For if they fall, one will help his companion up, but pity the person who falls down and has no one to help him up. Furthermore, if two lie down together, they can keep each other warm, but how can one person keep warm by himself? Although an assailant may overpower one person, two can withstand him. Moreover, a three-stranded cord is not quickly broken.»

Thus, the purpose of this ministry is not direct evangelism, but to indirectly support workers and create conditions so that small and remote or unaffiliated churches and workers will be able to evangelise in a more comprehensive and organized manner.

Thus with a united voice, we Christians may have a greater influence on burning issues in our country, in Europe and the world.

International

Because we seek to collaborate with other Christian ministries in Greece as well as workers from abroad.

Ministry of Helps

These words are exactly what they mean:

That is to say, the Ministry offers help not only to churches and workers, but to individuals as well, such as authors and artists (with the condition that they are Christians), having accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

For this reason the ministry will offer Christian workers a number of services, such as:

1. Meeting place for contact and communication.

2. Operation of internet radio with complete program and live broadcast.

3. Organising events.

4. Production of publications as well as musical Cd's and DVD's.

5. Use of the Internet.

The means for the achievement of the above objectives more analytically are:

1. The organisation of seminars, sermons, lectures and bible courses.

2. The organisation of gospel music concerts, festive programs, choirs and various other spiritual events.

3. The production of theatrical performances and showing of Christian movies.

4. The production of radio and television programs.

5. Outdoor and indoor events in various cities and villages of Greece and abroad.

The main means to achieve the above goals of the ministry «THE LIGHT» will be:

1. Publication and selling of books, magazines, booklets, as well as the promotion of other publishing houses.

2. Release of audio cassettes, CD's, video tapes, DVD's, audio and video Clips.

3. Selling of various decorative objects and Christian accessories.

To achieve these goals, the required funding will be sought and administered in a lawful and ethical manner, respecting both the State and the Word of God.

In closing, I would like to emphasise that the objective of this ministry is to enable Christian churches of all denominations to work together in revealing a glorified Jesus Christ so that more people may come to know Him.
